FAMILY BACKGROUND
I was born in a Muslim
Pathan family of the Rampur - UP, India.
My Grandfather, famous with the name of Babu Asad Ali
Khan, was Lt-Col. in Rampur State force & was at high position in the Rampur state in the time of Nawab Raza Ali Khan of Rampur.
My Father Shaida Ali Khan, was Captain in the Army of RSF & participated in the second world war from 1941 to 1944 & was posted in Egypt, Syria & Palestine; He passed away due to sudden Heart-attack at his residence in Rampur.
The elder brother of my father
Mashkoor Ali Khan, was also Captain in the Army of RSF & he also participated in the second world war. Both of them also remained A. D. C. to the Nawab Raza Ali Khan of
Rampur.
